be considerate - don't sue us

In what is possibly the strangest request yet by a politician, the KZN transport department head - Chris Hlabisa - has urged victims of road accidents that occured as a result of potholes not to sue for damages.

Says Mr Hlabisa:
"People must work through their consciences and they must understand and go back to the basics and the realities of our country".

Perhaps Mr Hlabisa should tell this to Hluphile Elda Zuma (no known relation to our state President) who lost an arm as a result of a pothole induced accident way back in 2004 (the case has still not been finalised more than 5 years on).

May victims of violent crime should universally forgive he perpetrators of such acts. I think South Africa should embrace our collective realities and we all give each other a big hug! That will solve everything.

SARS, please don't sue me for my back-taxes. Just search your conscience and understand the basics and realities of this great country. I like that. Same to you homeloan.
